Why is it important to reach the unreached
and hard to
reach in the Philippines?
It has always been my ambition to preach the gospel where
Christ was not known, so that I would not be building on someone else's
foundation.
Romans 15:20
While we stay in cities and where
there are roads... competing with other evangelicals so we can grow ‘our church’
millions of people die each day. How many of them do not know
Christ? How many of them have not
heard of him even once?
And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as
a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.
Matthew 24:14
As the above verse states, we should go to all
places because that is God’s heart. Even when there is no pathway to those
places [we must go]. Hopefully the truth of the of the many souls bound for
hell will move us [to action] because we are responsible for proclaiming the truth
of the Gospel to those who have not heard.
In
the Philippines most people have heard the name of Jesus, but in many places it is
just a name. They have had no one to explain the saving power of His name to
them!
